Illustrations

My initial desire to enter the field of Graphic Design was sparked by my love of sketching and illustration. This is something I still do on a regular basis in my free time.

Since I was a young child i’ve felt a closeness to nature and many of my favorite illustrations have revolved around animals.

In my twenties I began backpacking avidly and often alone. Immersed in nature I discovered an appreciation for the entire life cycle, including the often hidden process of decay. This was where I found my love of sketching skeletal remains.

Drawing bones also revealed the elegance and the simplicity that black and white art affords.
